To support the #PublicDebtIsPublic initiative, the part-time remote Research Assistant for Sovereign Debt will gather full-text sovereign debt contracts, tag key clauses, and collect information about domestic borrowing frameworks across various jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and tagging full-text sovereign debt contracts for the data repository
- Compile information on domestic borrowing frameworks from different jurisdictions
- Collaborate with a team of research assistants to implement subsequent phases of the #PDIP initiative
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; JD, LLM, or other graduate training preferred
- Experience with contract analysis and familiarity with non-US legal systems
- Experience in a research environment and working collaboratively in a team
- Understanding of research processes and appropriate research protocols
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage datasets effectively
