Job Summary

Seeking a skilled behavioral and mental health specialist, the full-time remote Research Associate III will manage complex statistical and data analytic studies related to rural health transformation initiatives, focusing on analysis of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services data while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Designs and implements quantitative and mixed methods studies to evaluate health initiatives and programs
• Leads data collection, preparation, and statistical analysis, ensuring data quality and integrity
• Supervises Research Assistants and Associates, overseeing research tasks and project deliverables

Required qualifications:

• Master's Degree in public health, epidemiology, economics, sociology, or related fields; PhD preferred
• 8 years of experience, with 5 years directly related to statistical analysis and CMS data
• Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, Python, or SQL
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and staffing
• Fluency in English, both oral and written
