Job Summary

Leading a team of research contracts professionals, the full-time Research Contracts Team Lead will negotiate and finalize complex sponsored research agreements while providing supervision, guidance, and operational leadership in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of research contracts professionals, offering coaching and performance feedback
• Oversee the review, drafting, negotiation, and execution of various research-related agreements
• Provide expert guidance on contract interpretation and negotiation strategies, serving as the primary escalation point for complex issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, legal studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in research contracting or administration, including negotiation of sponsored research agreements
• 2+ years of supervisory experience, demonstrating ability to lead and manage a team
• Expert knowledge of research agreement types and compliance considerations
• Strong understanding of applicable federal and non-federal regulations and sponsor requirements
