Research Data Coordinator I

Job Summary

Responsible for managing data for multiple research projects, the full-time remote Research Data Coordinator I will review and synthesize information from medical records to extract trial data, ensuring compliance with study protocols under moderate supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Abstract and enter required protocol data from medical records into study database systems
• Collaborate with study coordinators to document patient enrollment, treatment, and follow-up data
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring accurate reporting in compliance with clinical trial agreements

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of experience in data processing or database software; an AA/AS degree may substitute for experience
• Understanding of medical terminology related to oncology and clinical trials
• Experience with data entry and management in a clinical research environment
• Ability to work under moderate supervision and collaborate effectively with study teams
• Participation in continuing education relevant to the role is required
