Research Data Coordinator I

Job Summary

Responsible for managing data for multiple research projects, the full-time remote Research Data Coordinator I will review and synthesize information from medical records to extract data as specified by research protocols, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting into study databases.

Key responsibilities

• Review and synthesize medical records to extract trial data according to research protocols
• Collaborate with study coordinators and monitors to ensure compliance with data requirements
• Enter and report data accurately into study database systems under moderate supervision

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of experience in data processing or an AA/AS degree in lieu of experience
• Experience using automated data processing techniques and database software
• Knowledge of EMR systems or clinical trial management systems is preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical trials is advantageous
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential
