Research Data Coordinator III

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Research Data Coordinator III will manage protocol-specific data requirements for complex research projects, ensuring compliance with good clinical practices and federal regulations while synthesizing information from various medical records.

Key responsibilities

• Extract and synthesize data from medical records, including clinic notes and pathology reports, as per assigned research protocols
• Independently resolve data queries and provide support for higher patient volume and trial complexity
• Collaborate with coordinators and monitors, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with four years of research data management experience, or an associate degree with two years of relevant experience
• Experience with clinical trial management systems and electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ability to interpret medical records and maintain confidentiality of subject data
• Demonstrated competency in data management and reporting systems
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train other data coordinators
