Job Summary
Working remotely from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the full-time Research Data Scientist I will utilize programming and statistical skills to perform data maintenance, extraction, and analytics, while contributing to data workflow processes and developing predictive models.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize programming skills to enhance data pulling, reporting, and analytics processes
- Perform data modeling, database optimization, and extensive T-SQL development
- Assist in transforming data into actionable insights through various analytical techniques
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and two years of experience in data analytics, math or statistical modeling, or machine learning; OR Master's or PhD degree
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, or MATLAB
- Experience in machine learning and statistical modeling
- Familiarity with healthcare research data is preferred
- Ability to manage end-to-end data workflows
