Research Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the design and implementation of adaptable data strategies, the full-time remote Research Engineer will lead the development of efficient machine learning systems that evolve in real-time, collaborating closely with the founding team to impact both research and product vision.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of efficient, adaptive ML systems in real production environments
• Own the implementation of data products, addressing novel challenges related to data, interaction, and evaluation
• Contribute to both the research direction and product vision by collaborating with the founding team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
• 3-4 years of experience in machine learning, applied research, or systems-level engineering for artificial intelligence
• Demonstrated experience in model retraining or fine-tuning from production data
• Experience with online learning, reinforcement learning, or efficient ML architectures
• Strong software engineering skills and familiarity with Python
