Research Teaching Specialist V
Job Summary
Assisting in research on externalizing behavior in adolescence and early adulthood, the full-time Research Teaching Specialist V will manage recruitment among clinical populations, perform data collection and analysis, and support IRB applications at the Rutgers Newark and Busch campuses.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment of teens and adults with substance use problems and related disorders
- Conduct in-person and remote data collection, including neuroimaging and behavioral data
- Perform data cleaning, processing, and basic analyses while assisting with IRB applications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Science
- Prior research experience is an asset
- Long-term interest in research on substance use or related behaviors
- Experience with R or another statistical software package
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred
