Retail Network Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting the availability and performance of network and telecommunications services, the full-time Retail Network Specialist will manage troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and project execution for various technologies across retail locations in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors to manage service cases, track progress, and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Support network deployments and upgrades, including firewalls, switches, and voice equipment for new and existing locations
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders regarding service status
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a service desk environment supporting a multi-site retail organization
- Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with desktop software including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours as needed
