Job Summary
Managing all aspects of ERISA compliance for qualified retirement plans, the fully remote Retirement Plan Consultant will focus on Form 5500 filings, annual testing, and regulatory reporting while ensuring adherence to DOL and IRS requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and file annual Form 5500 returns and related schedules
- Conduct annual nondiscrimination testing (ADP/ACP, top-heavy, coverage, etc.)
- Interpret and apply ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations to retirement plans
Required Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of experience in ERISA compliance, Non-Discrimination Testing, and Form 5500 preparation
- Experience with FT William software in compliance and 5500 modules
- In-depth understanding of IRS and DOL regulations related to qualified plans
- ASPPA or CEBS designation (QKA, QPA, or CPC) strongly desirable
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, particularly in Excel
