Return to Work Coordinator

Job Summary

Managing the daily prospective Return to Work (RTW) processes, the full-time Return to Work Coordinator will review injury reports, formulate action plans for injured workers, and collaborate with team members and healthcare providers to ensure effective care delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews injury and medical reports to develop plans for expedited return to work
• Determines injury types and work statuses, managing individual cases and coordinating with RN Case Managers as needed
• Maintains accurate records and fosters relationships with team members, clients, and healthcare providers

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience or education in a medical setting preferred
• Understanding of medical terminology, office procedures, and workers' compensation regulations
• Proficient in data entry and general office equipment
• Effective written and oral communication skills with individuals at various levels
