Revenue Accountant
Job Summary
Owning the full revenue cycle in a full-time capacity, the Revenue Accountant will manage customer invoicing, revenue reporting, and accounts receivable while working remotely in a high-growth AI+SaaS company.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end billing cycle for subscription and usage-based contracts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
- Maintain revenue and deferred revenue schedules under ASC 606, including month-end close journal entries and reconciliations
- Serve as the primary contact for accounts receivable matters, managing cash receipts and collections to meet financial targets
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting, billing, or order-to-cash roles
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in revenue accounting at a technology or SaaS company with recurring revenue streams
- Proficiency in NetSuite and familiarity with billing platforms like Tabs or comparable systems
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 340-40, with advanced Excel skills for data reconciliation
