Revenue Accountant
Job Summary
To ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP, the full-time remote Revenue Accountant will review customer contracts, prepare technical accounting memos, and execute month-end close activities while collaborating cross-functionally to resolve revenue-impacting issues.
Key responsibilities:
- Review customer contracts and determine revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606
- Prepare technical accounting memos supporting revenue conclusions and execute month-end close activities
- Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls while supporting audits and providing documentation
Required qualifications:
- 2 - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on revenue accounting
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP revenue recognition requirements
- Experience reviewing customer contracts and documenting accounting conclusions for complex revenue arrangements
- Demonstrated experience supporting audits within public accounting or corporate accounting environments
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
