Revenue Accountant
Job Summary
Owning significant portions of the monthly revenue close, the full-time remote Revenue Accountant will execute journal entries, perform reconciliations, and support ASC 606 application while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure accurate revenue recognition and scalable processes.
Key responsibilities
- Execute monthly revenue close tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Review customer contracts and apply ASC 606 guidance to ensure compliance
- Improve and automate revenue processes and documentation as the business scales
Required qualifications
- Deep expertise in ASC 606 and experience leading the revenue close process
- Track record of partnering with Sales and Legal on contract reviews
- Experience in a pre-IPO or public company environment with external audit exposure
- Active CPA, ACA, or ACCA qualification; Big 4 or public accounting background preferred
- Strong systems proficiency with revenue recognition tools like Stripe or Metronome
