Revenue Accounting Lead

Job Summary

As a key contributor in a full-time remote position, the Revenue Accounting Lead will manage technical revenue accounting for complex and non-standard arrangements, partnering with various teams to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical revenue accounting for complex arrangements, including ASC 606 assessments and operational design
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide accounting guidance and shape deal structures that meet business objectives
• Lead the operationalization of new revenue arrangements, ensuring accurate billing and revenue recognition processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
• 6+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
• Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 and experience with complex contract evaluations
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and translate technical conclusions into operational execution
• Experience with revenue operations and systems such as ERP/revenue platforms and billing processes
