Revenue Accounting Lead

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Revenue Accounting Lead, this remote position will manage complex revenue accounting arrangements, partner with cross-functional teams to provide accounting guidance, and operationalize new monetization models while ensuring compliance with ASC 606.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical revenue accounting for complex and non-standard arrangements, including ASC 606 assessments
• Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, Legal, Product, and Finance to shape deal structures and provide accounting guidance
• Lead the operationalization of new arrangements, translating contractual terms into billing and revenue recognition processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
• 6+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or technology sectors
• Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 and experience with complex contract evaluations
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and translate accounting conclusions into operational execution
• Experience with revenue operations systems, including ERP/revenue platforms and automation processes
