Revenue Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Leading the contract review process, the remote Revenue Accounting Manager will evaluate complex customer agreements to ensure compliance with ASC 606, drive automation of accounting processes, and collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk teams to optimize revenue outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate non-standard customer contracts and document technical accounting positions for auditor scrutiny
- Drive improvements and automation in revenue systems and controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Partner with cross-functional teams during contract negotiations to advise on revenue-related terms and conditions
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including revenue recognition under ASC 606
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience reviewing customer contracts and documenting accounting positions
- Experience improving or automating accounting processes and controls
- Experience owning SOX controls and supporting internal and external audits
