Revenue Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To strengthen revenue accounting operations, the full-time remote Revenue Accounting Manager will lead a team of accountants, oversee monthly close activities, and partner across departments to enhance accounting processes and support new products.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly close for assigned revenue accounting areas, ensuring accurate financial results in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Manage and develop the accounting team, setting priorities and resolving close issues while escalating significant matters as needed
• Lead process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting tasks

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including revenue accounting and financial systems, preferably with Big 4 public accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
• 2+ years of experience managing an accounting team, including oversight of outsourced resources
• Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and SOX/internal controls
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP or revenue systems; SQL experience preferred
