Revenue Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and analytical, the full-time remote Revenue Accounting Manager will manage revenue recognition activities in compliance with ASC 606, oversee contract reviews, and support financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead revenue recognition activities and maintain compliance with ASC 606 and GAAP
- Conduct detailed RFP and contract reviews to ensure accurate revenue treatment
- Assist with annual external audits and enhance internal audit processes related to revenue compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in accounting with technical expertise
- Advanced knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and experience leading implementation projects
- Ability to provide risk assessments for management decisions
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
