Job Summary
Managing complex revenue accounting activities, the full-time remote Revenue Accounting Manager will oversee the monthly and quarterly revenue close process, ensure compliance with ASC 606, and lead process improvements within the revenue accounting operations.
Key responsibilities
- Own the preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue-related reporting for the revenue close process
- Apply and interpret ASC 606 guidance, analyzing revenue transactions and customer contracts for proper accounting treatment
- Identify and lead projects for process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability in revenue accounting operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant experience in revenue accounting and ASC 606
- Strong technical accounting foundation with the ability to research and document accounting conclusions
- Experience with ERP, revenue recognition, billing, CRM, or data analytics tools preferred
