Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Accounting Manager, this full-time remote position will ensure accurate revenue recognition, drive month-end close processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while applying ASC 606 standards in a SaaS environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606 for various customer contract types and prepare technical accounting analyses
- Perform monthly accounting close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and other teams to evaluate deal structures and implement revenue process improvements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- 6+ years of revenue accounting experience in a Big 4 firm or SaaS/technology company
- Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and experience with revenue automation tools and ERP/CRM systems
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or advanced Excel functionalities
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of process improvements
