Revenue Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading the revenue accounting and accounts receivable teams, the full-time salaried Revenue Accounting Manager will ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606, oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes, and drive process optimization and automation in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the revenue accounting and accounts receivable teams to align goals with departmental objectives
• Review revenue-related journal entries and prepare monthly revenue flash reporting while analyzing customer contracts for compliance with ASC 606
• Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing, collections, and cash application

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with a focus on revenue recognition
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP and NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) is required
• Demonstrated proficiency in applying ASC 606 and familiarity with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system
• Advanced MS Excel skills for complex financial analysis and experience with data in PowerBI
