Revenue Accounting Project Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Revenue Accounting Project Manager will manage the design and standardization of accounting processes across multiple revenue streams, ensuring consistent operations while driving cross-functional projects to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager in shaping the accounting initiative roadmap by identifying process gaps and prioritizing workstreams
• Design and standardize accounting processes and controls to ensure predictable operations as the business scales
• Own end-to-end project management for revenue accounting initiatives, tracking progress and driving projects to completion

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in accounting, project management, or business/systems analysis, with Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition applicable to subscription or service-based revenue models
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to independently drive cross-functional initiatives
• Experience designing or standardizing operational processes and controls, with strong data skills for investigating issues
