Revenue Cycle Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Revenue Cycle Analyst will validate and review hospital accounts for additional revenue opportunities, confirm claim reimbursements, and diagnose root causes of underpayments while collaborating with support teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Utilize client Patient Accounting systems and proprietary software to research accounts in the work queue
• Evaluate reimbursement calculations and determine necessary actions to resolve underpayment issues
• Document account details to support appeal and resolution efforts while meeting production benchmarks

Required qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree or a High School diploma with 2+ years of experience in hospital billing, revenue cycle, or data analytics
• Organized and analytical self-starter with strong critical thinking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for detailed documentation
• Proficient in mathematics, particularly with complex equations
• Proficient with computers and technology, including a week of onsite training
