Job Summary
To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Audit Specialist will perform reconciliations of transactions, audit payment postings for accuracy, and resolve discrepancies related to insurance and patient payments.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of revenue cycle transactions, including payments and adjustments
- Audit payment posting activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
- Analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, auditing, or related financial operations
- Experience with medical billing systems and electronic remittance files required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Experience performing account reconciliations and variance analysis required
