Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist will manage accounts receivable, resolve denials, and ensure timely reimbursement from insurance providers while adhering to regulatory compliance and maintaining detailed documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding hospital claims to ensure timely reimbursement
• Investigate and resolve unpaid claims by collaborating with insurance providers and internal departments
• Submit reconsiderations and appeals for claims, ensuring accurate documentation and justification

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in revenue cycle billing
• Completion of formal training in insurance billing and follow-up is advantageous
• Familiarity with various insurance payers
• Proficiency in PC operations with typing skills of 30-40 words per minute
