Revenue Cycle Consultant

Job Summary

Providing professional consulting services, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Consultant will assist the Defense Health Agency in managing operational and revenue cycle operations, focusing on accounts receivable management, audit readiness, compliance management, and project management support.

Key responsibilities

• Support accounts receivable management by analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing strategies for improvement
• Assist in preparing materials for audits and developing audit responses to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Contribute to the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures, monitoring adherence to relevant regulations

Required qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, finance, or consulting
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, accounting, or a related field
• General understanding of the end-to-end revenue cycle processes
• Experience with electronic health record or revenue cycle systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
