Revenue Cycle Float Team Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Float Team Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support various areas within the Revenue Cycle operations team, including data & claims quality, customer service, payment posting, insurance follow-up, contract & credentialing, medical coding, and admin support
• Resolve accounts in the Global Interface Engine, update insurance and authorization information, and create accounts
• Assist with contracting and credentialing concerns, interface with clients to obtain necessary documentation, and build health plan rates and fee schedules into the contracting database

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4+ years of experience in medical billing, claim clearinghouse errors, medical coding, payment posting, payor enrollment, insurance follow-up, or call center/customer service
• Ability to analyze data, perform multiple tasks, and work independently in a busy work environment
• Technical aptitude and proven track record of learning new systems
• Understanding of payer policies
