Revenue Cycle Representative

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Revenue Cycle Representative, the candidate will manage the accurate submission of insurance claims, follow up on denials, and ensure timely posting of payments while maintaining acceptable aging levels for accounts receivable.

Key responsibilities

• Submit claims and respond to denials, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines
• Perform insurance follow-up and collections, resolving discrepancies through various methods
• Analyze patient invoices and accounts for clean claim submissions or re-bills, maintaining work queues and resolving payment issues

Required qualifications

• High School Degree
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities (Authorization, Billing, Follow-Up, Call-Center, or Collections)
• Basic understanding of health insurance plans, policies, and procedures
