Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure timely collection of accounts receivable for advanced imaging services, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage claims denials, monitor account activity, and collaborate with various teams to maximize reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform collection activities, including status calls and appeals, to ensure timely reimbursement
• Ensure accurate information is submitted to insurance companies to expedite payment
• Review pre-bill claim holds and compose appeals for denied claims

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2 - 4 years of experience in physician office billing and denial management
• Basic understanding of ICD10, CPT/HCPCS, and medical terminology
• Familiarity with CMS 1500 and knowledge of Medical Assistance, Medicare Part B, and commercial insurance products
• Athena experience strongly preferred
