Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Reporting to the Office Manager, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage insurance billing and collections, assist patients with billing inquiries, and ensure timely claim resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Processes, reviews, and files insurance claims, including Medicaid/Medicare, according to established policies
• Collects and enters patient insurance information into the ACS Compumed System and follows up with insurance companies
• Maintains billing information and responds to patient requests regarding billing and collection issues

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in insurance accounts receivable and post-claim follow-up
• Preferred experience in physician claim billing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry
• Proficient in using computer programs and applications
