Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for the timely follow-up of claims and resolution of accounts, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage account receivables, maintain accurate documentation, and assist with billing guidelines and payor issues.

Key responsibilities

• Research and follow up on outstanding claims, documenting all correspondence and actions taken
• Contact insurance companies to resolve invoices or accounts through various methods
• Analyze and correct invoices or accounts while maintaining productivity and quality goals

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• One (1) year of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations
