Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Revenue Cycle Specialist will process, review, and file insurance claims while assisting patients with billing questions and managing the collection of patient balances.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform various functions in processing insurance billing and collections, including Medicaid/Medicare claims
• Review, verify, and submit insurance claims while following up with insurance companies to ensure timely payments
• Assist patients with billing inquiries and maintain supporting billing information for audits

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in insurance accounts receivable and post-claim follow-up
• Preferred experience in physician claim billing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry
• Proficient in using computer programs and applications
