Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

To support a collaborative healthcare team, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage the preparation and submission of claims to insurance carriers, secure necessary medical documentation, and follow up on unpaid claims while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit physician and clinic claims to third-party insurance carriers
• Secure required medical documentation and follow up on unpaid claims
• Process claim rejections and ensure accurate diagnosis/procedure reporting

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, healthcare administration, finance, business, or related field preferred
• 2 years previous experience as a medical biller or in a related healthcare administrative position preferred
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and knowledge of billing software preferred
• Self-motivated and self-directed
