Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for processing, reviewing, and filing insurance claims, the full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist will work remotely to assist patients with billing inquiries and manage the collection of patient balances while ensuring timely resolution of claims payments.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform various functions in processing insurance billing and collections, including Medicaid/Medicare claims
• Review, verify, and submit insurance claims while following up with insurance companies for timely payments
• Assist patients with billing questions and maintain supporting billing information for audits

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in insurance accounts receivable and post-claim follow-up
• Preferred experience in physician claim billing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry
• Proficiency in using computer programs and applications
