Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

To support timely collections and maximize reimbursement for physician billing, the full-time remote Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage accounts receivable, resolve claims denials, and collaborate with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform collection activities, including status calls and appeals, to ensure timely reimbursement
• Ensure appropriate information is submitted to insurance companies to expedite payment
• Monitor and correct denied claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 - 4 years of experience in physician office billing and denial management
• Basic understanding of ICD10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• 4+ years of experience with worker's compensation and commercial insurance products
• Familiarity with CMS 1500 and Athena software preferred
