Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting all teams within the revenue cycle, the full-time hourly Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage tasks such as insurance verification, payment posting, and denial appeals while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support all revenue cycle management sub-teams as directed by the Sr. Director of RCM
• Confirm patient insurance verification and eligibility, and evaluate insurance contracts to determine patient financial liability
• Post manual and electronic payments and adjustments in the EMR system, and assist with follow-up and denial team overflow

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
• Minimum of three years' experience in a healthcare or insurance company setting, with a preference for insurance verification and benefit sharing experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
