Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting all teams within the revenue cycle, the full-time hourly Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage eligibility verification, payment posting, insurance follow-up, and denial appeals in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Support all Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) sub-teams as directed by the Sr. Director of RCM
• Confirm patient insurance verification and eligibility while evaluating insurance contracts to determine patient financial liability
• Post manual and electronic payments and adjustments in the EMR system, and assist with follow-up and denial team overflow

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
• Minimum of three years' experience in a healthcare or insurance company setting, with a focus on insurance verification and benefit sharing preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
