Job Summary

Supporting the revenue cycle in a full-time remote capacity, the Revenue Cycle Support Specialist Lead will manage insurance denials, verify insurance information, and assist with various clerical tasks while cross-training to cover other department roles as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Work insurance denials and requests for information
• Verify insurance for surgical ER face sheets and 30th Street billing
• Update insurance records and manage returned patient statements

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of medical office experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and surgical procedures
• Proficiency with Excel is highly desirable
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
