Revenue Management Specialist

Job Summary

Managing accounts receivable processes, the full-time Revenue Management Specialist will ensure accurate billing and timely resolution of patient and insurance accounts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Research and resolve outstanding patient and insurance credit accounts, ensuring claims are filed correctly
• Process refunds and credit reversals in accordance with departmental policies
• Analyze Accounts Receivables reports to maintain revenue integrity and address identified trends

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4 years of experience in medical office billing, collections, or coding in a hospital or physician setting
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9/10 codes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding of insurance explanation of benefits (EOB)
• Ability to interact effectively with various departments and management levels
