RF Engineer - In-Building Design
Job Summary
To support national wireless infrastructure initiatives, the remote contract RF Engineer - In-Building Design will leverage advanced RF engineering expertise, oversee Distributed Antenna System (DAS) designs, and manage technical project execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve In-Building Wireless (IBW) and DAS designs to ensure compliance with national standards
- Analyze network KPIs and recommend design improvements for optimized coverage and operational efficiency
- Lead execution of complex wireless infrastructure projects and manage vendor relationships for successful project delivery
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience in In-Building RF Design and Optimization
- 3+ years of technical project management experience
- iBwave Level 3 Certification or recent hands-on experience with iBwave
- Strong expertise in LTE and 5G NR network design and optimization
