Job Summary
To improve access to specialized care for underserved populations, a Rheumatologist Licensed in Any State will provide remote consultations as a PRN / 1099 Independent Contractor, focusing on diagnosing and treating rheumatic and autoimmune diseases while maintaining flexible scheduling.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct remote consultations to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with rheumatic and autoimmune diseases
- Prescribe appropriate medications and provide patient education on managing chronic conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and maintain accurate patient records
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree required
- Minimum of 1 year of practice experience in Rheumatology
- Active DEA certification and Board Certification/Board Eligible in Rheumatology
- At least one unrestricted state license (any state in the U.S.)
- Telemedicine experience preferred but not required
