RHIA Licensed Coding Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting inpatient coding quality and education, the full-time remote Inpatient Coding Education & Improvement Specialist will review coding findings, analyze trends, and develop targeted educational resources to enhance coding accuracy and consistency.
Key responsibilities
- Review coding-quality findings and recommendations for accuracy
- Analyze trends and develop targeted inpatient coding education
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve coding quality workflows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management preferred, or equivalent experience
- RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification required
- Experience in inpatient facility coding and coding quality review
- Knowledge of inpatient coding guidelines and MS-DRG/APR-DRG methodology
- Experience developing coding educational resources preferred
