RHIA Licensed Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

To oversee daily operational activities of coding staff and ensure compliance with regulations, the full-time RHIA Licensed Coding Supervisor will manage employed and vendor coders, monitor coding accuracy, and facilitate provider education, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing leadership and operational oversight for coding resources and supporting PB-CDI activities
• Monitoring documentation integrity trends and facilitating provider education related to coding accuracy and compliance
• Collaborating with operational stakeholders to address documentation concerns and support coding accuracy initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree or two (2) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CCS-P credential required
• Minimum three (3) years of coding experience in a highly computerized hospital environment
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
