RHIA Licensed DRG Auditor
Job Summary
Auditing inpatient cases for DRG validation and documentation improvement, the full-time RHIA Licensed DRG Auditor will review medical records using proprietary software and client EMR systems, with opportunities for growth into client-facing and mentoring roles, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review inpatient medical records for validation of DRG assignment
- Provide detailed rationale and supporting evidence for recommendations and findings
- Utilize industry-recognized references to support review findings
Required qualifications
- Current AHIMA credentials of RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS
- 3+ years of ICD-10 auditing and DRG reimbursement experience
- Recent acute inpatient auditing experience
