RHIT Licensed Content Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the RHIT Licensed Content Consultant will create, maintain, and test clinical and coding content within the TruBridge Encoder, focusing on coding standards and guidelines while collaborating with business partners and participating in quality assurance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Researching and creating content for coding advice, coding clinic articles, and code mapping for ICD and CPT codes
• Performing quality assurance testing of the application and providing product support to customers as needed
• Collaborating with the product owner to develop new features that adhere to coding standards and guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional coding and classification systems
• RHIT or CCS certification required
• Experience with HIM software, including encoding and abstracting solutions
• Proficient in MS Office software, particularly Excel and Word
