Job Summary
To optimize the 340B program goals, the full-time Rhode Island Licensed 340B Specialist will manage day-to-day operations related to compliant medication procurement, billing, auditing, and inventory management in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor adherence to 340B policies and procedures while auditing pharmacy claims data for compliance
- Maintain auditable records and input audit results into applicable systems, ensuring accurate communication of compliance issues
- Collaborate with the 340B Team to identify compliance risks and assist in implementing corrective action plans
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in business or health-related field, or current unrestricted licensure as a Pharmacy Technician with national certification (CPhT)
- One year of experience in the 340B Drug Pricing Program, pharmacy purchasing, or related healthcare experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to independently perform tasks within departmental policies and refer complex issues as needed
