Job Summary
Working remotely, the Outside Auto Appraiser will inspect damaged vehicles, estimate repair costs, and determine the actual cash value of total loss vehicles to ensure accurate and timely claim settlements.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect and assess vehicle damage through virtual or on-site inspections at body shops or customer locations
- Prepare accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software and collaborate with repair facilities
- Evaluate and settle vehicle total losses by determining actual cash value through market research and comparable vehicle analysis
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience
- Active adjuster license, where applicable
- Two years of auto physical damage appraisal experience
- Proficient in claims management and estimating software
- Valid driver's license
