Job Summary
To support a growing online academic program, the part-time Rhode Island Licensed Nutrition Faculty will prepare and deliver course content, assess student learning, and maintain course materials using the university's learning management system.
Key responsibilities
- Teaches assigned courses online and on campus, preparing materials and providing timely feedback to students
- Maintains accurate records of student attendance and performance, ensuring alignment with university policies
- Communicates with students and university staff regarding academic progress and available support services
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in nutrition, health sciences, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- One or more years of experience teaching in a higher education setting
- Valid Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential in Rhode Island or ability to obtain upon hire
- Proficiency in teaching online courses and using Blackboard Ultra
